Yay! Creating your own Tea Brand! Now we’re not just sipping tea, we’re building an empire one leaf at a time. Let’s do this properly, playful, sharp, and just a little ambitious. From leaf to label and possibly to legend, who knows!
So… You Want Your Own Tea Brand?
Right, let’s begin with the obvious question. Have you ever tasted a tea and thought, “I could do something with this”? Not just drink it, but shape it, name it, and send it out into the world? Well, that’s exactly what this programme is about. Creating a tea brand is part curiosity, part creativity, and part “how did I get myself into this?” in the most exciting way. It’s less about perfection and more about starting something that feels genuinely yours.
It’s Not Just a Pretty Label (Though That Helps)
Now, before we all rush into designing elegant packaging and imagining shelves lined with your name, let’s gently acknowledge something. A tea brand is more than how it looks. Yes, branding matters, but what’s inside the package matters even more. This programme walks you through both, the substance and the style. Because a beautiful brand with average tea is… well, a bit disappointing. And we’re not here for that.
Understanding Tea as a Product
Before creating anything, we need to understand what we’re working with. Tea is not just one thing. It varies by origin, processing, quality, and character. This part of the programme focuses on understanding tea as a product, what makes it unique, what makes it valuable, and what makes people come back for more. It’s surprisingly fascinating once you start paying attention. Finding your Brand Identity
Now comes the slightly creative, slightly existential part. What is your brand about? Is it bold, refined, playful, traditional, modern, or something entirely unexpected? This is where you begin shaping your identity. Not just what you sell, but what you represent. And yes, this can take a bit of thinking. But when it clicks, it’s rather satisfying.
Naming Your Tea (No Pressure… At All)
Ah yes, naming. The moment where everything suddenly feels very real. Your tea needs a name, and ideally one that people remember. This programme guides you through that process without making it feel overwhelming. You’ll explore ideas, test them, and probably change your mind a few times. Completely normal.
Blending Your Signature Tea
Now we get hands-on. Blending tea is where creativity meets skill. You’ll learn how different teas and ingredients interact, how to balance flavours, and how to create something that feels distinctive. It’s a bit like cooking, but with fewer burnt edges and more subtlety.
Packaging That Speaks
Packaging is your first impression, and as we know, first impressions matter. This section explores how design, material, and presentation influence perception. It’s not about being flashy, but about being intentional. And yes, it’s also where things get visually exciting.
The programme runs every two weeks, and you’ll be placed into the next available intake. Classes take place Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8). If you happen to miss anything, no stress at all, recordings will be available so you can revisit the discussions whenever it suits you. Simply let us know you’re keen, and we’ll guide you from there.
Every tea brand needs a story. Not something overly dramatic, but something genuine. Why does your tea exist? What makes it different? This is where storytelling comes in, and it’s more important than you might think. People remember stories far more than they remember products. Creating Tea Brand

Launching and Growing a Tea Brand
Understanding Your Audience
Who is your tea for? This question sounds simple, but it shapes everything. From flavour to branding to pricing, your audience matters. This part of the programme helps you think about who you’re creating for, and why they would choose your tea over others.

Pricing Without Panic
Let’s talk about money, briefly and calmly. Pricing your tea can feel slightly daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. You’ll learn how to approach pricing in a way that makes sense, balancing value, cost, and market expectations. No complicated formulas, just practical thinking.
The programme runs over 15 days, and you are welcome to step in and out as you wish. Should you complete the full journey (and resist the temptation to quietly disappear midway for a cheeky tea break), you will be awarded a certificate recognising your participation, officially endorsed by government body of China.
Selling Online – From idea to Reality
Once your tea exists, it needs somewhere to go. This section explores online platforms, including how your tea can be shared through the Order of Tea platform. It’s about visibility, accessibility, and reaching people beyond your immediate circle. This programme is not just theoretical. You’ll actually have the opportunity to build your own tea line. From concept to creation, you’ll see your ideas take shape. And yes, it’s quite a moment when that happens.

Learning by Doing
There’s only so much you can learn by listening. This programme encourages action. You’ll test ideas, make decisions, and occasionally adjust things along the way. It’s practical, engaging, and far more memorable than simply reading about it. Let’s be clear, things won’t always go perfectly. And that’s absolutely fine. In fact, it’s expected. You’ll learn just as much from what doesn’t work as from what does. Possibly more.

Collaboration and Global Opportunities
You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll share ideas, receive feedback, and see what others are creating. This exchange often leads to better outcomes, and occasionally to surprising inspiration. Your tea brand doesn’t have to stay small. This programme introduces possibilities for both local and international reach. It’s not about rushing, but about understanding what’s possible.
Connecting with Tea Producers and Building Confidence along the way
Where your tea comes from matters. You’ll gain insight into working with tea producers and understanding the supply side. It adds depth to your brand and credibility to your product. Somewhere along this journey, you’ll start to feel more confident. Not because everything is perfect, but because you understand what you’re doing. And that’s a rather good place to be.
There is no fixed timeline here. You can move at your own pace, refine your ideas, and develop your brand in a way that feels right. It’s not a race, thankfully.
So… Ready to Create?
And here we are. If the idea of creating your own tea brand feels even slightly exciting, then perhaps it’s time to begin. No pressure, just possibility. And quite a lot of tea along the way.
Creating a tea brand may sound ambitious, but it begins with simple steps, a clear idea, a bit of curiosity, and the willingness to explore something that might turn into something rather special. You don’t need to have everything figured out from the start, just a sense of interest and a willingness to learn, because clarity often arrives somewhere along the journey.
